Powerlifting.
I love and dreadfully miss powerlifting. In Berkeley I trained with the phenomenally inclusive and wonderful Bay Strength.
Animal Care & Conservation.
In the Bay Area I was an animal care volunteer at the Oakland Zoo and worked with the flamingoes, cotton top tamarins, sun bears, siamang, amazon parrots, wallaroo and emu.
Indie Roleplaying.
Having designed and published multiple games in the space, I still help organize a number of yearly events for the indie roleplaying games community. I am the lead organizer for GenCon’s Indie Games on Demand event (which regularly has over a thousand attendees) and one of the judges and organizing committee members for the Golden Cobra Larpwriting competition.
